Nothing is ignored or stepped over. They have the hard conversations. They dismiss Board members when it serves the mission to do so. They dismiss staff when there is no possibility of turning around poor behaviour. In short, they do the heavy lifting.
10X is how I led as Executive Director, and 10X is what I train to this day.
